74…..short stroke 3.2 with 46mm PMOs. Guard LSD, RSR front struts and and and.
OEM flares from PO resto. Nothing mechanical left from that time. Now in my sons name but in my garage.

Marty I see a real 916 and an early versions of a 4 to 6 front mount.
I also see your beautiful exhaust /turbo install and clutch cable pulley.
I don't see a gear shift rod to the bulkhead ...something missing or something special ?

Rory, I took these undercar pics while servicing the 914, so lots of parts still going back on>> here is some shift rod detail; safety wire at the front bulkhead.
For the small dust cover at shift rod exit, I hand cut a small piece from a Diet Coke can...honoring my Wife's fave drink ¡
The rod is held in place at the Trans end by a firm drift-pin.

In 1995, the black rubber dust cover-end was cut from my fave beverage Coors Light >> it had a good 31 year run !
