Marty I see a real 916 and an early versions of a 4 to 6 front mount. I also see your beautiful exhaust /turbo install and clutch cable pulley. I don't see a gear shift rod to the bulkhead ...something missing or something special ? |

Rory, I took these undercar pics while servicing the 914, so lots of parts still going back on>> here is some shift rod detail; safety wire at the front bulkhead.
For the small dust cover at shift rod exit, I hand cut a small piece from a Diet Coke can...honoring my Wife's fave drink ¡ The rod is held in place at the Trans end by a firm drift-pin. |
