Hi,

I just replace a new motor to the Heater blower box. I know the connector wire consist of four wires, the main power, and 3 control, but where the ground wire.

Did I miss anything?

Billy

The heater fan is in the engine bay and has only two wires. I think you are referring to the fresh air fan under the cowl? If so the ground is through the fresh air fan relay.

Check the schematics for your model year here:

To Jeff's point, heater blower fan is in the engine bay with two wires, orange and green on a 75. Those two wires have connectors that go to the harness by the relay board.

Yes, I am referring to the fresh air fan.
Mine is a 1975 914. I’m still a bit confused. I’m looking at the entire assembly, and it appears to be all plastic. How is it grounded?

Regards,
Billy

If I recall, theres a red and white wire that provides power from the fuse box.

The other three white wires provide ground via the control panel in the dashboard, through the speed resistor pack.
