Hi guys. Episode 2 of my 914-6 build is up...and you've never seen a tear-down like this before! Watch as the car is delivered to Utah and a swarm of Porsche mechanics at PMB Performance take it apart in record time...in multi angle timelapse. One small request: please subscribe if you haven't already. It's super helpful for me to see what works and what doesn't. Plus, I'm so close to 10K. Please help put it over the top!

Me too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif). I've been trying to stockpile footage so these episodes don't take years to come out. The car is actually about to go into paint. Metalwork will e the next episode...

It was great to watch thr teardown. My favorite part... "this is not how you properly remove the warts..."

Fun video to watch everyone "swarm" the car and disassemble. That sure looks like an excellent chassis right from the beginning. PMB was an excellent choice for this project. Congratulations Ian, you will be driving a beautiful Six very soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I am enjoying the disassembly to possibly learn a little about the six. I have owned mine for almost forty years and have dropped the engine many times (last time was 2023) along with various other projects. I would love to live next door and pop in like a regular pest but unfortunately, I live much too far away. Admirable project. I am not certain my 63 year old corpse would endure such a thorough project. Thanks for the videos. Attached Image

Awesome! Thanks for posting!

Someone needs to get Eric and his team a shipment of nitrile gloves. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

@rjames - I was thinking the same thing! I was very surprised at the lack of gloves.
