I had trouble starting my restoration of a 73 914 on 914 World so I placed it on TheSamba.

I will add some background and progress as I move along.

Looks like it’s gonna take me some time to figure out how to post pictures that are under the data restrictions

Its 914 sat in the ownership of two gentlemen in the District of Columbia.
It was kept most of his life in parking garages. I think it had a fairly easy life until a girlfriend got upset, went into the trunk and pulled out a 9 iron iron and proceeded to break out the windshield, the rear glass in both the passenger and driver’s windows.
Then she beat the car with the club and tore up most of the chrome.
She put a couple of nice dents in the car and then scratched the 914.
So now I’m gonna try and do a little bit of a sympathetic restoration and get it back on the road!

OK, so she may not be marrying material...

Love the blue, it's worth the effort. Good luck with restoration!

Use IRFANVIEW to manipulate pictures, best image software I have used, and have used it for decades. Crop, resize, merge, color shift, change file types; very easy.
