OK, we hear you.

However, somehow it seems Okteenerfest gets put on every year with all volunteers and on or around 9/14/xx. If the date is settled, that would take one big element of debate out of the planning mix for future WCRs.

Maybe those who are involved with Okteenerfest could share their "secrets to success", so the west coast 914world.com members can incorporate them into planning WCRs?

No magic secrets just a lot of work and planning.
Steve Schleif has been hosting Octeenerfest for the last few years in the same location.
He does a great job and have been to several but if traveling that far I what to go to a different location.
I spoke with Steve several times about how they did much of the planning.
Oscar, Loretta and I learned a lot about how to host an event and al ist have a blue print on how to plan an event.
We may host another one but not this year for me. Got too much going on.
