For many years I joked about "the only red car I can have is a Ferrari", well I didn't end up with one of those, but do have a nice non rusty Scarlet Red example from Oregon. Just finishing it up from the paint shop, we were able to retain the right front fender and passenger door original paint, blended the balance and she came out very nice. Single stage with a good orange peel look

I like black as well, and my preference is generally for the ‘cooler’ colors - blues, greens. Not that fond of oranges and browns (brown is just dark orange). That being said, my 914 is Saturn Yellow, and I really like it. Surprised myself there.

But red cars are also great, especially on Ferraris, Alfas and the like. So yes, depends on the car…

Red leads to unwanted conversations with the PoPo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/busted_cop.gif) and costs more $$ in the long run.

So far it looks to be red in the minority. Glad to see it's going this way.

Alaska metallic blue is my favorite but so many folks at local car shows say my green really stands out; very very few green cars at local shows. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

very few green cars (of any age and any variety) full stop down here. sadly. love green cars. up there with orange for me.

but here is one.
my aunt's brother's bmw.
british racing green. tan interior (germanic connolly hide?).
special order car. said to be only one in north antarctica.
i don't like BMWs but i am prepared to make an exception for this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
(its a bit dusty in photos, dirt roads up at the farm).

I love blues, Cannery Yellow is great as well. I have had 911s in Sepia Brown, 2 in light metallic blue, Conda Green, Guards Red. Cal-Trans Bright Orange, 914s in bright 1976 Yellow, 1974 Black

I just love bright colors and blues
