Hello Gang,
As I'm waiting to get my new motor back & installed, I am collecting all the proper hoses to freshen up the L-Jet install. I have seen several diagrams and suggested lengths for the hose sizes, based on this diagram, it looks like I need about 1' of 22mm ID hose from the Oil filler to the rubber intake boot: (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-24231-1611263503.jpg) I can't seem to find that 22mm ID hose at any of our usual suppliers. Do you all have any suggestions for where I can find the 22mm ID cloth braided hose? Also wondering if this diagram is correct for the ID dimensions for the other hoses, as it contradicts other diagrams I've seen. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-15080-1740549254.jpg) When looking at the two items you will see that: The top diagram calls for sizes: 4,5,10,12, and 22mm ID sizes Jeff's diagram calls for sizes: 4,5,13,15,19, and 22mm ID sizes. If Jeff's is correct, I have not been able to find the 19mm and/or 22mm sizes. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks Ted |

Does it have to be clothe braided?
I bought some 22mm ID oil hose from Parts Klassik. It is oil pressure rated. From my notes, you should also be able to find 22mm ID at Belmetric, Patrick Motorsports, Auto Atlanta, PBM, Elephant.... 3/4 inch is 19.05mm. I think 3/4 hose is widely available. |

Good point, it doesn't *have* to be cloth braided, for whatever reason I'm just sticking what the car shipped with in 75. Which is kind of an odd goal considering this is going on a 2056, with L-jet and 2.0 runners, GoWesty Throttle Body, 123 distributor, etc. |
