 using non bosch stock injectors for D-jet 2056, Standard injector corp injectors - anyone have experience with them? |

a few years ago i bought these under the recommendation from another thread that they were a replacement for the stock injectors, but i didnt install them. now with the motor out and ready to go back in, I was considering putting these in and while looking closely at them I noticed that the spray tip is shorter and therefore will not extend into the opening. So i was looking to see if anyone has used these and if this made a difference??
with the small seal on the tip the tip is barely exposed making it not to into the opening at the intake manifold very far. Anyway these are the Standard Corp injhectors made to work with our d-jet systems. Phil |

I use them on my 2056. I'm running the 2.0 version FJ67. They work fine and the car runs perfect.
The only issue I've had is the hose clamps leaking. They carry a 5 year warranty so I've had to send 2 back... one leaked when I first installed it and a 2nd one started leaking in year 2. The issue was the clamping collar they were using. The last ones I got back under warranty had regular hose clamps on each end and they seem much better the the copper sleeve clamp they were using. |

I have them on my 74 2.0 - they're the early version with the clamped collar but i have not had any issues.

I’m about to replace all 4 injectors valves with 4 new FJ67 I just bought, and for peace of mind, I’ll replace the crimp they come with with a clamp. I can keep you posted as soon as I get this job done… waiting for a few more parts….

Using them for several years, they seem fine, I just adjusted my MPS to lean midrange. Crimped connectors are worthless, just a little bending causes them to leak, I replaced them with FI clamps.

Ok just read responses, just got in after installing my new fuel lines and i did put these injectors in, and mine have the crimp clamps, so i will have to keep a close eye on them.
how do you remove those crimped clamp ends? good to know they are working well. the others are fine i think but these are supposed to be good for the 2056 as they do supply slightly more fuel, which might mean having to also adjust the mow to lean it out depending on what readings i get on the AF meter. I just installed a new O2 sensor , old one was acting up. Motor had been pulled out to change out the heads long story…… |
