Tech question regarding 914 caliper piston boot clips:
I have 1 reusable OG one I kept. I have a new(er) one I just received from Perry Kiehl that is ever so slightly larger in OD. I also have 2 other new ones that are quite a bit larger in OD, like the OG one will nest inside of it with some slop. Are the larger clips for a 914-6 and are incorrect for a 914-4 ? the used OG one fits best. The newer, slightly larger one works, the other 2 larger ones fit in the slot but don't grab the boot. Also worth noting, the smaller clips overlap on the ends, the other larger ones do not. |
