I don't think Tony would mind me posting this.

@TonyA sent this to me when he first acquired the BB...from that day to PCA concours winner. A remarkable journey and one to be admired.

A big shout out to Jeff Bowlsby for all his advise over the years of this journey. Also thanks to Auto Atlanta, 914 rubber. of course the 914MOB you know who you are. Special shout out to Paul Agurie from Soul Performance who was my wing man all week.

I just got back and will post some more pictures and comments after I settle down.
There were a few hiccups that you all might like to hear about.

Thanks Again

There's a good video of the concours on the PCA website...

A friend there sent me these, and I had never seen it before- was wondering if it was a real 916...Attached Image

Two 914s took part in the autocross and guess what both did?

Attached Image

I took mod1 and the other guy took a production class.

There were only two cars in my group though. A 72 rsr race equipped.

From the '76 Parade in Brainerd... sure glad I didn't have to take it home on a plane-weighs a ton!

(did much better than at Pocono in '74- a guy two cars ahead lost it and stuffed his car into the wall, basically smashing it all the way to the gas tank...kind of took away my enthusiasm)Attached Image

Tony- I’m so impressed by your dedication through the restoration! Glad to be a small part of this project. Well deserved and congratulations! You are the Godfather of the 914Mob for many reasons…this is kiss the ring worthy.
