i second that draft. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
here are three more 91 RON 73 1.7s i found on a trawl through more of BAT this morning over toast and vegemite. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) unfortunately all unverifiable. insufficient documentation of point of sale and no other supporting evidence of engine type (emission sticker/surviving stencil stamp (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ) but i suppose it points to them being out there and they all look original. ![]() |

I think its verifiable from the Haynes data you posted. If its a
73 1.7, 91 RON, its an EB engine. These are a silver label BTW, not grey. 73 1.7, 98 RON, its a W or EA engine |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) yeah re verifiable, i was looking in each case for something that linked the sticker to a bit of engine data. either an engine number shot, a surviving emissions sticker or a 613 stamp on engine tin and best of all, an original purchase receipt or stamp in the owners hand book of selling dealer. all three of these lacked that info. the yellow rustolium car did have the data but.
