yours was sold in may in the USA.
car would have been completed in nov of 73.

yours is a match for this 10/73 74 2.0 that was very original and sold on BAT a few years back for 64K. was a long time owner of that particular car.
though there is just a hint of pinkishness to this one. could be just that its faded almost to clear.

also here are two examples of 73 17 i had on file which were very good orig cars.
i don't have much more on 73 MY, outside my narrow gauge interest in L jets.

they look pinkish, or very faded red.


looks like before the blue screw collars came along they might have been pinkish/red and its faded to clear in some cars, or its a mixture of the pinkish red and clear collars in batches. hard to know for sure, but one thing that is for sure, they are not blue.
and far as i can tell from at least dec 73 on its pretty much blue collar bottles i believe as a fair conclusion.

earlier than that. i don't have material on file to draw conclusions.
