I had some work done on the inside of the driver's door when a screw blocked the latch handle. That is fixed now, but I noticed that the window crank is no longer parallel with the passenger side crank like it used to be. My question is, does the pivot end of the crank handle press onto the spines of the roller shaft? Can I use a flat blade to pry the handle off of the shaft and then press it back on in alignment with the inside handle on the passenger door? Thanks.

there is a plastic cover that needs to be moved to the side. that will give you access to a phillips head screw. remove that screw and should be able to remove the window crank, and reposition it to the way yo want it

be careful, if you try to use a screwdriver you could damage the door card upholstery

Under the black plastic on the handle is a screw. Pop the plastic up, undo the screw, move the handle and put it back together.  |
