Dansks version of the bracket... is the odity. Countdown .. 13 12 10mm.. notice the same diameter contact area.. 10 & 13 slightly more than a plain 12 nut.. Thanks for the image of bracket clearance on original. Clearly the new design is complicating things. The nut comparison is helpful. If you want even more surface contact, I found an M8 nut with 10mm ATF and 14mm flange at Belmetric. I looked at narrow flange or exhaust nuts that were copper, but everything I dug up was locking. Didn't seem like a good idea, based on this thread. |
