If you have ever wanted to have a 914 LE, this car is a great one to purchase. Much of the preliminary work has been done and is described below. The car was sandblasted to bare metal and needs some minor rust work and of course it needs paint. I have new parts for two small areas that need to be replaced due to rust. It is now a solid car with only minor rust, even where rust on a 914 is typically found. Details on this car below. If you are looking for other 914 parts, give John a call. He just may have what you are looking for. (704-351-3304)
I have the Porsche factory certificate of authenticity for this car with a clean title and a matching numbers engine. It comes with a rebuilt correct 2 liter engine and transmission. Previous owner spent $7500 on the engine rebuild with all new parts: pistons and cylinders, camshaft, complete heads, connecting rods, distributor, oil pump, even nuts and bolts and powder-coated sheet metal. It also has new distributor plug wires and fuel injectors. It has the correct wheels. The previous owner had the frame jig made and installed before the car was disassembled. It can be rolled over for repairs on the sides or the bottom of the car. It is a really nice tool to make restoring the car easier. This car has never been wrecked. Many additional used parts included to complete the car. Only parts not included are those that need to be replaced with new, such as interior (carpets, dash, seats...) and rubber gaskets. Call John with any questions and to discuss pricing.: 704-351-3304 and to receive pictures. Finished this car will be worth significantly more since LE pricing has continued to increase in the past few years. The last bumblebee we built sold 2 years ago for $35.000johnforbes914@gmail.com. This project can give your dream car or be sold for a significant profit when completed. |
