Short blower hose in engine compartment. VW type 411/412 part number.

and by now all the original ones are split like mine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
i currently have the two ends of it sleeved into a length of near identical crinkle german heater duct hose.

also nice to see how they were using bits from the 412 parts bin. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Question, was that duct used from 73 to 76.?

In the back of my mind when I did the Restoration of my 1972 914 over 30 years ago that the ducts were cardboard or paper on the early cars.?
