FYI, CB Performance has announced that it will be closing its business. No date yet but a little sad to loose this vendor. See announcement here

That is sad. Also, I'm probably the only guy that didn't know this, but I didn't realize the history of CB Performance and the connection with Claude and Bob Tomlinson. I'm sure as the older car hobby shrinks, it's harder to maintain profitability in smaller businesses like this one. I wish them the best in their retirement! Thanks for sharing this.

Aw man, that's disappointing. They've been my go-to for a lot of 914-related stuff (like Dellorto parts).

And I've been buying parts from Claude's Buggies since my first hot-rodded Beetle back in the late 70s/early 80s.

This is really gonna be the sux. I hope their bespoke stuff (like the dry sump pump) gets bought by other businesses...

Also noticed this over the weekend. I'd been holding off on ordering something. Just placed the order!

Hadn't realized that CB was the same as Claude's Buggies as they were known years ago.

I got their mod kit for my webers. And they work great. Kind of ended up missing the Burbel-Burbel-Cough-Cough in the corners. Guess I got used to it's stutter
