Looks straight from the pictures.
From Craigslist: I am selling my dads 1971 Porsche 914. The car has about 85,000 miles on it an is in very nice condition. It is yellow with tan interior and is in excellent condition. It has a fuel injected 1.7 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car runs strong and has 2 liter fuches on it, with new tires. you can see pictures at gocoastalsc.com/lane/porsche.html Thanks for looking! You can reach me at (831)588-3571 |

On a 70-71 only the drivers seat is adjustable.
It had cable operated windows and the windshield wiper switch is next to the cigarette lighter vs. the lever behind the steering wheel. Also note the lack of fresh air vents on the sides. It should also have a tail shifter vs. the side shifter. I used to have a tangerine one back in the late 70's. This one does look in great condition. I would still be very paranoid about rust. Cars in Santa Cruz are known to be very rusty. Steve |

the add is asking for $3100. ditto with Steve: cars in Santa Cruz have been known to rust. still worth checking out. interior looks pretty nice.

QUOTE(nebreitling @ Aug 4 2003, 08:11 AM) Santa Cruz have been known to rust. Whats the deal with Santa Cruz anyway?. I always seem to spot a rusty VW bug whenever I drive there. All the salt air and fog turn old cars to dust. Pat |
