Hey Mike,

Remove the paint to bare metal? What's really inside the WD-40? petroleum basis stuff? I'm a bit surprised at the idea of having to remove the paint .

Fill me in!

I got some Windex on the chrome trim around my windshield. Am I screwed or is there any hope of salvaging the car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Let's see:
  • WD-40
  • oven cleaner
  • Windex
  • tire cleaner
  • pansy-assed 911 owners
Got it. Anything else I should be tossing out of my garage? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Couldn't ya just put a decal over the damaged area?

Or is would the paint molecules on the fender be so badly damaged
that it would just slide right off and stick to yer shoes?
