The interior is slowly turning red. Thank you Mike (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Now I need to pull the windshield to get at the vinyl in front of the dash pad. Next I am installing FAT MAT for sound insulation. Still looking at steering wheel options.

Maybe.... but I'm thinkin' the red/black combo is better, and badder. Besides, when us 914 drivers get our grimy hands on it, the black won't show the grease stains as much! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Problem solved. You can remove it after Kevin drives the car to Florida. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Only one problem... when he gets there, the steering wheel cover will stick to his hands... ripping the fur off in clumps... thus destroying that extra special show-quality look!
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Oh yeah, ok, removable is gud. |

Craig, (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
Really like the subtle details of the ashtray and interior light delete. That's a rich looking red, too. Reminds me of the interior treatments of some of the sports cars of the 50s & 60s, especially with the Nardi style steering wheel. Excellent. . . . |

I'll try to dig some up tomorrow AM. The interior was pretty worn so it didn't have the pop that yours has. My car had all the normal basketweave and regular vinyl as stock - just red. Dash was black, with a red basketweave facia too. |
