To whoever said "crash victim" and "organ donor": Do you REALLY know of someone who died because s/he did not spend enough money on her/his brake upgrade? Be honest. I'm talking about where you know the specifics.

Davep, thank you, that was the kind of answer I was looking for. Yes the gas milage is suffering. I've thought about that same thing, rebuilding what I have for now. I was just hoping that there would be something that could be traded in (rotors and calipers). But your Information makes it sound like I really want to get hold of 911 stuff (and now know what to look for).

Does anyone have a set of old stock rotors (bad, junk). I would like to look and experiment with them, and sounds like I'm going to need mine for awhile longer on the car.
