this is a pic of a nice oil cooler set up with venting down through the front trunk. it is shrouded allowing for most of the front trunk utility to remain. think this could work for a suby with some fans? just thinkin'........
and thanks to whomever beongs to this trunk.... |

the radiator in my Subies is way bigger than any oil cooler i've seen...
Rabbit radiators are very efficient and popular amongst the formula car people, and might be enough to get you by. also - AFAIK - oil coolers mounted like that don't have fans, which you'd almost certainly need in a watercooler application (i.e. - they get pretty deep pretty quickly...) i'd think perhaps a radiator laid flat, or almost so (to allow the header tank to collect bubbles) with proper ducting and guide vanes might be the ticket. but you're on your own for practical testing... |
