Ok,
I know it is kind of a stupid question, but I pulled this motor out of my car (which will become a V8 conversion). The core is complete, but the last time it ran was about 4 years ago... I am not looking for top dollar, just a reasonable low $ value... Complete with heat exchangers and very rusty muffler... Thanks Thom |

If its 100% complete (fuel pump and all)... you might be able to get 400$ for it or so... we buy core 2.0 engines for 500-800$..so running 1.7's dont bring much.
Cool... to hear another V8 car going together in NorTex. B |

There was another thread somewhere, where a guy was trying to get $200 for a 50K mile 1.7 engine.
Known miles, documented history...$400 tops I bought one a yr ago because I need it (still sitting in the crate....it's good to have spares) for $350...35K miles, no HE or dizzy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Like I said, I wasn't looking for top dollar, and I knew it wasn't worth much, so my bubble hasn't been burst...LOL (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) Thom |
