I'll be in LA from 26th to 30th and wouldn't mind checking local 914's.
I would also be interrested if anyone have ideas where to find 3.2 crank in
LA.

Sounds like an excuse for a get together. For business or will you have free time? Where will you be staying?

I'm new here too ( 1st month of ownership. now up on blocks...) but I'm local. I live in Echo Park. I'd love to meet other people who own these little wonders!

"Sounds like an excuse for a get together. For business or will you have free time? Where will you be staying?"

-Mainly free time in LA, business starts when SEMA show starts. I'll be staying in Hollywood, near the "sign" (dont know the name of the area), Rodgerton drive.

"Hmm, hooters sounds cool. In Aneheim? Say Friday night meet at 7? 8?
Mika, does this work for you?"

-Yes i think it's ok. We just have to locate that place.

"bad timing. why don't you rent a car and come up to laguna seca on the 29th to play with us?"

-I'we been in Laguna seca once but i can't remember how far is it from LA? Anyway i think we have to arrange a trip. We have to rent a car for our Porsche and VW part hauling, so that's not a problem.

-I would LOVE to see 914's in a track. I am the only one racing a 914 in Finland and i have never seen 914 in a track (other than my own in a video (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) ).
Next step would be to rent a 914 from some of you and drive in Lacuna Seca, that's a dream (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/burnout.gif)

Aaron, Scott, Joe S., Joe B., Howard and the SoCal contingent. Mika is having difficulty posting to the forum. He just emailed me the following:

Hi Dan

I have a problem with 914club and i can't post replys or sendt pm's.
Me and my friend/mechanic Juha will be there in Hooters around 7 in friday.
It would be nice to visit you and maybe even check your car, it looks
superb. I would be interrested to visit 914 racers and places were these
cars are built or prepped. I am the only one who
races 914 in Finland so it would be interesting to spy race 914.

Regards
Mika
