Here's a few I captured.

The stoners might have missed this in Cheech & Chong - Up in Smoke.

Rancid Aluminium - a terrible UK film. The 914 features quite heavily as it is the main character's ride.

Leif Garrett TV special, late 70's pop star
crashed his porsch 914 while going to buy beer ,paralized his buddy,
TV special where they meet years later to say sorry man.

That was a 914? Wow... I remember seeing that show but I didn't remember a 914. (Must have had something to do with watching those Cheech y Chong movies, I suppose.)

I could have sworn that they said it was a 911.

Don't forget "Gumball Rally" from 1976. The 914 is a 1974 Porsche 914-4.

This is from the Leif Garrett Official Website:

"In 1979, when he was in his late teens, Garrett and his friend Roland Winkler were in Garrett's Porsche 911 when it rear-ended another car and shot over a freeway embankment. "We were friends. And we were both really high. And for some reason we didn't take his car that night. We took my car and ended up getting in a crash and he ended up paralyzed. It's a horrible thing. It was three days before my 18th birthday."

Isn't there a white one in the Jerk? I think it's visable when Steve Martin gets dropped off at the gas station.

Hey People

Sorry for the question, but what software is needed to take a "snapshot" form DVD movies ? I would like to take these stills shots from various movies and various cars.
Do I need a big $$$ soft that bypasses security??? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

Thanx
Later

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

I'm not an expert, but one option is to use the 'Cyberlink PowerDVD' application which has a 'frame capture' feature. List price is $60 but you can get it for $10 at www.software outlet.com

I'd love to see a collection of all of the 914 movie scenes!

A red 914 is driven by a pretty young lady in the UFO episode "The Psychobombs" from @1970 . The producers thought it would make a good car to see on the road 10 years in the future.

Resurrected to plug a music video. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) You can tell it's punk when it features a fist fight with Jolly Old Saint Nick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rock_band.gif)
