Heard that asia got walloped by several big quakes just hours ago. Sounds like centeral south asia, Pakistan, Afganistan, parts of India got shook real bad, reports of 18,000 dead so far. It is day time over there now, they are in for one heck of a day and that is just the begining. Keep all them in our thoughts and prayers.

Assosiated Press reports 18,000 dead so far. quake was listed as a 7.6 Simular in size to the Loma Preita (World Series) quake in 1989 in san fransico area. However the buildings over there in aisa do not hold up well, hence the massive death toll. Also read reports of big after shocks of 6.0 plus.

Sounds very very bad.
