I have an acquaintance here in the Bay Area who is into vintage VW buses....his website ratwell.com is phenomenal and I found these clamps referenced there. They can be obtained directly from the Ultimate Garage...

All parts 304 stainless steel, no worm drive perforations, hex head screws, rolled edges...

Look at the data for the ABA 304 Mini Clamps. Another thing I like is that this is the only resource I have seen that indicates a torque value for this important connection.

Ever seen anything better?

Knowing about those hose clamps is really important, but an even greater find for me is Richard Atwell's site www.ratwell.com with its incredible treasure-trove of late model VW Bus technical info. My son has a 75 bus with a 79 engine. Just looking at Richard's FI vacuum hose diagrams is like finding a gold mine. It's incredible what he's managed to assemble at this site! Thanks!! I need a new batch anyway. Thanks Jeff. I think I'll order up some Monday.
