have a look at this , you have to scrill down on the front page a bit , they did a body kit of the carrera GT and it does look pretty good, they even show the boxter donor and the body panel,, looks like fun ,, i am sure you could fit on on a 914

oh boy. the kit cars are back.
now you, too, can have the look of a 200 MPH car with half the performance... let me know when the kits to retrofit the C-GT's V-10 into a 914 are out... |

In my opinion, one must have some mental issues upstairs to want to have such a kit car...the same person probebly has a blow-up doll at home as well, I mean what's the differance, they are both fake and you are "pretending" to have something you don't.....
they must not have had any freinds while growing up and now they got to have something fake that screams "look at me, look at me"* *but not too close, cause you'll see that I'm shallow imitation just like my car (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) |

Hey Mike!
That would make it a NARCGT (Not a Real Carrara GT!) Isn't that the same argument the nine eleben guys say about teeners? Except our "pretend" NARPs can take TTD and win races.. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif) |

I just like that body...
I'd take the front nose piece and put it on my car, and the rear bumper.... Those look really good. Looks like a couple of kits... Different quality I see.. One company (IMG:http://www.markalexandermiller.com/TheCarFactory/BoxsterGTDaytona2.jpg) (IMG:http://www.markalexandermiller.com/TheCarFactory/RedGT1.jpg) (IMG:http://www.markalexandermiller.com/TheCarFactory/RedGTs.jpg) Nother company (IMG:http://i1.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/29/27/7d_1.JPG) (IMG:http://i1.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/29/27/ae_1.JPG) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-Car...1QQcmdZViewItem |

our 914's are not "pretend", they are real...even a 916 clone or GT replica is far, far different than these "kit" cars |

a 916 clone has more appeal to the 911 guys than you'd think... especially compared to a carrera gt clone.... lol
