The DS running lights just quit on me! The turn signals and brake lights still work fine, as do the headlights, but no tailights or front or side marker lights at all. I didnt find any blown fuses under the dash.

Help?

i dont know whether or not the guage lights are on the same circuit as the outside running lights, but are you guages lit or not?

one time i had a connector fall off its post and hit a ground, shorted out my guage lights (at speed) and produced a funny burning smell....had to pull over ASAP (a mile later) and fix everything......

All other lights work as they should, with the exception of the PS low beams, which I believe to be unrelated?

go in the rear trunk, look for wiring issues....

look at ALL the bulbs.....

got me....

i think the sides are different though....i do know that if the engine is off, and you use the turn signals, you can angage the parking lights for each side.....

I tried the turn signal trick, same results. I looked at all the bulbs earlier, they all looked good, and all the wiring in the trunk looks to be intact. Maybe I'll try swapping the bulbs form the PS till I find it.

If just one bulb on that side is out, the whole system on that side shuts down?

I did. Then I reached up under the dash and played with the wires behind the fuse panel. Nothing seemed loose. Then I tuned on the parking lights...nothing. Then I turned on the headlights, and viola! Parking lights came on! Everything seems to be working fine....for now. I think it might be in the switch.

BTW, the bulbs dont affect the system.

Thanks for your help!
