my dad and i drove his newly purchased '67 bug from Coeur d'Alene to Olympia this weekend.
it is a one owner, with the original AM radio, tool kit, shift knob (in the glove box, with a wooden aftermarket on the lever), owner's manual, etc. etc. it cruised at 70 all the way across the state, even up out of the columbia river gorge by vantage! didn't want to start at one rest stop, but did all the rest of the times; probably a starter glitch. burned, or rather leaked a bit of oil, but no smoke, ever. pretty sweet.
