Does anyone know what proper procedures are for a Ebay seller that will not respond to total price request emails?

This is for the Gotti rims for my 914...

If it is not happenin', at least tell me so I know to start looking again.

Like Mueller said, maybe he's doing ME a favor.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Depends on when the auction ended. You can send th eseller a request for the total. If I has been more than four days then get there name and address and phone number and call them.
You have to remember not all sellers on ebay sit around just waiitng for replies rom buyers. They might have an emergency or are out of town and not near a computer.

If it's only been a day or four, he could be scurrying trying to get boxes to send them in. If he doesn't have the dimensions or weight then he can't give you the total.

But, I guess it would all depend on when the aution ended. I would think a few days would be ok, but who knows.

Roger, were those the ones on eBay last week? If this flakes out on you, and those are the wheels you have to have, I think I know someone who has a set.

Alritey then,

I emailed him again three days ago. I was thinking maybe he got the brunt of the hurricane that went through Florida.

So today I will request his contact info and attempt to contact.

I know my sister and bro inlaw are without power and water for another week...

Andyrew,

No that's not them.

Mine are fully anodized in the centers. Same size though... I like those too.

Seriously fat rubber for the rear, ya' know.... I'm dying to get my rear end hooked up on some dry pavement. Yahooo! and carry a spare CV too. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Heck,I was thinking about starting with a wire wheel on the centers, then going to rubbing compound, then a fine compound. Coming close to matching the finish like the outers.

Its a PITA trust me...

I've done it Roger...

If you want to take off the paint. Use chemical because you will never get everywhere with a wire wheel.

super duper aircraft stripper works like a charm, We did some gotti's that way (btw, your set doesnt look like gotties.

Looking at them again, I'd say you are right.
They don't have the typical Gotti flat face on the spokes. I'd really check into it, maybe he IS doing you a favor by not sending the $$ info.
