Last Friday at Laguna Seca.
Topic: Car Control
Main Idea: Trail braking
How did I do?. Its harder than it looks.
Did I learn anything?. Yup, wayyy to agressive with the brakes. Have to be smoother
Did you have fun?. The Forulma Dodge cars handle very well.
Did you accomplish what you set out to do?. Overcame my fear of the Viper.
Wil this make you a better Autocrosser?. God I hope so..

These are a blast. Everyone should try one of these once. I now can say I've drove a race car.

I watched the instructors warm up in the Vipers one day on the trail braking. Quite amusing.

Glad you had fun.. sooner or later I'll get a chance to exercise the Vipers.

I learned more in one day doing this. Than in 20 years of driving. Its real hard to move trucks around a wet skid pad as fast as you can. Musta spun out five or six times.

The school is a mean bunch. Look at the rear tires on this Dakota Pickup. Then they tell us "full throttle"! when on the skid pad.
