I was home sick yesterday (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/barf.gif) so I spent lots of time in bed taking naps and just thinking when I was awake. I started thinking about my first teener which I purchased new new in 1972. I think it was either a late model 71 or early model 72 but it was a 1.7 L engine. Well what struck me yesterday was that I never changed an oil filter
on that car....did I miss something...was there one there and I just never saw it. My 2.0 L has one and I would sure feel stupid if the 4 years I had that 1.7 L car I never changed the oil filter.

It must have.I think you would remember the puddle of oil under it all the time(atleast more than normal) Although, it may have been an option! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)
