Got this for welding a cage into a friend's Baja Bug.

Should be easy, right? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif)

Looks like it could be scads of fun. Does it sit on a bug chassis or something?

It's a Lynx. He brought me part of a pan with a VIN that he has a title to (sitting next to the body).

He's also bringing a decent IRS pan over. I have to 'restore' the titled pan with parts from the good pan. I'll also have to shorten the good pan by 14" to fit the body.

Liz and I decided to paint it Signal Orange with a white nose that fades into Lapis Blue Metallic flames. I've never painted flames before, so it should be a fun project.

The body needs a LOT of work. It's been sitting in the desert sun for years.
