The right front top latch on my /6 is loose. Took off the top and checked it out. In theory, it looks like a simple 9mm nut to secure the hook. In practice, both nuts just spin. Can this be adjusted or repaired? I checked a few vendors but didn't see top latch hardware listed.
Any tips gratefully appreciated. Thanks... On a related note, I got out and ran some errands in the car today. It was just too nice (50, full sun) to waste. Won't have too many more days like this here... Skip |

Are they stripped, maybe someone else had that problem and cranked them down, stripping them in the process?

That's sort of what I was thinking. If that is the case I presume I'd have to (carefully) cut off the nut and get a new stud to attach. Maybe it's not worth it though and I'd be better off trying to find a decent used pair. Skip |
