Want to (need to) re do the weatherstripping on my car.
The question is the weatherstripping at mid american formerly tweeks has two options -is there that big of a difference between the two other than price?

yep.

the aftermarket stuff AKA cheaper stuff is just rubber...you must glue it into the channel

the OEM pricey stuff has a metallic locking system built into it, just press and there we go.

the aftermarket stuff might not work as well, but ive heard both cases. I guess it all comes down to how well you glue stuff.

make sure you use SLITS' glue though.....

Not all of it comes down to glue. But just plain old fit. Aftermarket is not going to be exactly the same as original. Some might fit perfect other pieces might not.

Said before, for front trunk never use the after market. Just does not fit no matter how much glue you use.
