Hi all,

I've heard a lot of talk lately about cylinder head temp sender units that are inserted between the spark plug and the head like a washer. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these? Do they work, how accurate are they, etc. Also, I was wondering where they can be purchased? I would like a sender and gauge combo, hopefully VDO.

Thanks,

I have the VDO gauge with the "ring around the spark plug" sensor. Seems to work fine. Usually shows about 275 degrees when car warmed up. That seems a bit low but I think the value of the gauge is to show a sudden change rather than the exact temperature.
