A guy I know is organizing a fun rally for the Friday after Thanksgiving... it will be a tour of scenic South Mountain in western Maryland. For anyone in the area who wants to totally avoid shopping malls, etc. on the busiest retail day of the year, it should be a nice diversion! We did a New Year's Day cruise last January and people brought all kinds of cool toys, from a classic Austin-Healey to a black 964 to a Toyota-powered Lotus replica. It would sure be nice to see a 914 or two out there... heck, I'll even volunteer as a navigator for any local teener who needs one!
