simple green works great....but I dont always have water.....

carb cleaner is WONDERFUL, but very volitile and not good for the earth....

so what should I use? i'm talking like in the dorm parking lot, etc. etc.

spray bottle with simple green mix....and just let mother nature clean it off? I guess its better to be soapy than oily.

Just go park on the lawn of the local frat house and use 8-10 cans of brake parts cleaner. Frat guys love car guys, you'll be golden.

you may find yourself in deep shit if you get caught degreasing an engine in a parking lot. cleaners will leave a big mess that no one will want to park over, the dripping crap and engine/brake cleaner will damage the asphalt (the fix bill will be beyond belief). open the yellow pages of the phone book, look under steam cleaning and call around. look for a firm that will do your car on a lift. you will get the whole bottom of the car clean, and avoid a trip to the deans office.
