What the heck is a Bosch sport distributor? Ignition timing remains the same whether it's FI or carbed: 27 degrees BTDC @ 3500 RPM. A little tricky, but doable. |

30-32 degrees at full advance, which should be somewhere above 3000 RPM. You didn't say which distributor you have. Got a number for us? The Cap'n

Or set it somewhere between 27 and 32 degrees BTDC at full advance. Should be all there by 3500 RPM. The timing will be over-advanced at idle.
Or set it at 5 BTDC at idle. It won't have enough advance at high RPMs. Or set it somewhere in the middle. Both ends will be off. The advance will come in all at once, no matter what you do. This is not the best distributor for our applications, unless you can re-curve it or find someone to re-curve it for you. --DD |
