I'm downloading the demo now and have been reading through the webpage. I see the Nurburgring is there, but it looks like the F1 track not the Nordschlife (sp?). Does anyone know if it's the full course or just the F1?

I downloaded a demo a couple days ago from a different site. I got one course and 3 cars (Jag, Corvette, and Lotus Elan). It runs pretty good on my computer, 1.2 Ghz AMD w/ATI Visiontek 9600 Vid card. I wanted to make sure it would run on my setup before buying the full version. Picking up a Momo wheel/pedal thingy this afternoon (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

O RLY? 914/6 is available? That's way cool. My regular 914 is a hopped up white 2.0 (I also have a red 1.7). |

The game uses new versions of the old tracks (i.e. no Nordschlife). Simbin claims the game simulates the current "club" racing being done with the old cars instead of a simulating racing the cars during there prime. Later, Don |

that's too bad because it plays really nice. I can only imagine doing the full ring. We race the ring a lot in Forza and Project Gotham on XBox, but the feel is much better with GT Legends (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

OK...I picked up a used Momo Race wheel and pedals...it works good except that the PO lost the power supply so no feedback functions. Anyone know where I can get a power supply: input 110v AC, output 24v DC ? Radio shack doesn't have one....found some on the web but big bucks.

Randy,
I've got a Logitech Formula Force which predates the Momo stuff. Here is the info from the power supply: Model: 57DT-20-1500 P/N: 190010-0000 Input: 120VAC/60Hz 45W 480mA Output: 20VDC/1.5A Shield is Neg Pin is Pos ITE Power Supply 9835 With that info you can probably get one at Frye's. Take the pedals with you so you can make sure the plug fits correctly. |

I gotta say, this is a nice demo. With the force feedback on it drives very nice. I prefer the GP course over the short course. I just wish I had some more cars & tracks...oh well, I will on Tuesday (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

Thanks Sean...that will help. There's no Fry's here but a couple other similar places. Did you get the 914 in your demo?

I broke out Grand Prix Legends last night when I got bored with the 2 tracks of the GT Legends demo. I love this game!
Here's a pic of the broken Cooper I was driving before the motor died (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) Attached image(s) |
