I'd put a piece of glass over one and use it as a coffee table

Hmmmm, I wonder why the thread was pulled?
I read somwhere that they were estimated to be worth $300,000?
Crazy...maybe we'll see one show up on ebay in a 914. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif)

Vasek Polak , His dealership was a favorite stop to see what was on display , a rare treat.

In the early '70's, I used to live right down the street from his dealership. I recall a white 911R for sale. Always had an interesting car in the window, let alone what may have been hiding in the back. Though I saw lot's of his (sponsored) cars at the local racetracks.

Wow, me too I lived on 1st place right around the corner from Vasek. Its where I saw my first 914-6 sitting next to a 917 on the showroom floor, race car and street car side by side, thats when the love started for me. Twas just a poor surfer at the time and also recall seeing the 914-6 window sticker at $5625 and thought woah, I will never be able to afford a car that expensive! (high end Chebbies were $3k back then)
