While everyone is wrapping christmas gifts here I thought I'd take an hour and upload some of my restoration pics. So, in my blog are the 4 phases:

1. brought it home
2. in the body shop
3. putting it back together
4. all done

Future 5th?...yup, this spring I start my 3.2l six conversion!

Merry Christmas!

Lou...the seats are Koniq's...made for the 914.

Rick...yup, 83 928S...pretty much my daily driver for 9 months out of the year. I've owned it for about 5 years, put about 60k trouble free miles on it!

Nice Job Jim!!
I plan on being in Milwaukee this summer for some SCCA autocrosses and to visit some friends of mine. We should have a get together with Brian and the others instead of just talking about it. Good luck with that "heavy" 6 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

The side view with the kids in the background is a great picture and makes me question whether I want to go the same route w/my 914 in terms of the painted sails with chrome back trim or go back to stock (all chrome trim w/black sails and A-pillars). Gorgeous job! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
