This is an idea that I have been kicking around for the past couple of days. My car does not have a working horn. Looks like the first one got hit and was replaced by a second, which also looked rusted and beat up (and does not work). Not a surprise, given the horn location in the 75-76 cars.
I wanted to put a Hella horn in the car, but not in the stock horn location. My plan was to either cut a hole in the front bumper, place the horn in there, and then put some grill mesh material over it, or to place it in the bumper, and drill several several small holes for the sound to get out. What syas the rest of the crowd to this idea? Has it been done? I just don't want to buy a quality horn, and then put it in the sucky 76 stock horn location. Zach |
