Hey guys, wondering if you guys could help me, i have a mk1 golf cab and am over in england, i have fitted the below door pulls:
(IMG:http://www.kamikazegtir.btinternet.co.uk/pics/handle.jpg) At a recent golf meet someone had a surround that replaced the plastic black one in the picture and had a metal one of slighlty different shape with the grooves in to match the handle. Unfortunaltley i could not find the guy to ask where they were from but someone told me they were off a Porsche 914? Was hoping someone could tell me if this was the case as i am after some! Cheers |

What he has doesn't have the door lock mechanism. I think I've seen that on older 911's.

Try '68 to early '70s VW bugs for the chrome version of the surround you want. |

Hey, ye that is what the part im after looks like just without the lock bit. So it was only early Beetles that had these surrounds then? if so ill have to get hunting!
