Thanks for the clearification Johnman.

However, for my final 2c worth, I disagree with Al Meredith tho.

I would keep the car as far away from George as possible, which is to say do not even think about going south east of Nashville...especially toward Atlanta.

The current plan is to fix it, if I can.

Dr Mike,

I'm finishing up a -6 restoration (see my blog) and will offer any help/advice I can if you end up doing work on it yourself. You'll find loads of supportive folks here.

I'm very glad you've decided to repair this beautiful car!

Mike

Well Guys!
DrMike brought the poor GT to me and we have been fixing it.
It was a real mess Mike gets Kudos for repairing it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
It will be done in about a month or so.
We fixed all the damage and have it painted.
We installed GT frame stiffners as mike wants to do some DE's.
We are also installing a 2.7 RS type but only 9.8CR it will put to the groung 220 hp.
It will be a ball on the track as well as the street. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)
Here is some pics.

The first pic you posted was my desktop for the longest time (not sure where I got

the pic) and I loved that car. Thank God no one was hurt. I can't imagine how

your son felt killing his dads mistress. But there is light at the end of the tunnel

and this time it isn't a train. Looks like they are doing a wonderful job on it. She'll

be as good as new in no time. You should name her phoenix, (Iknow I spelt that

wrong) rising up from the ashes...

Nice job!!! Great to see the car was saved and will return to the road.

Is or was the car chassis straightened on a Clette bench? How do you check to see if a car is straight after a crash like this?
