Hello! I'm a newbie, but have been reading the board for months. I purchased a beautifully restored 914-6 about 4 months ago. Gorgeous car, fantastic drive (needs 2nd gear syncho). 2 weeks ago, my youngest son was home from college when a woman pulled out in front of him. In avoiding her and child, he got to experience snap oversteer. He is Bondurant trained. The result is in the pictures below. I would like to save the car '71-6 w/ m471. I have no restoration skills. I need advice an two points. First, is it reasonable to consider fixing it? Cost will have some bearing. Second, if yes, then any experience/recs near Nashville?

Always wondered what happened to that car, glad to see it is in good hands and about to be back on the road.
