My brother has purchased a '74 911 parts car with a 2.4L motor that he doesn't intend to use. The only thing it needs is the, hard-to-come-by, throttle linkage. Is it worth my time to do the conversion and what kind of headaches (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) am I looking at making that conversion?
Things I imagine I'll need include an oil cooler, an engine mount kit, an exchanger/exhaust modification and maybe the tranny. It'll be replacing the stock 1.8L which I intend to rebuild and 'perty up a bit. Anybody close to Baltimore that wants to come and play?
