What car won the first IMSA GT race?
Who drove the winning car? Where was the race? When was it? |

I'm guessing Hurley Haywood in a 914-6. 1971, 1972? Hans Stuck, and Peter Gregg are also candidates for the first win.

Let's see if I can use my powers of deductive reasoning and figure this one out? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif) Brumos Porsche is in Florida. Anita Bryant was from Florida. I remember her from the ad campaign in the 70's Florida farmers grow and sell Oranges. I say the Govenor of Florida or maybe the State Citrus Growers Association hired Brumos and paid them to paint the cars orange to promote the sale of Florida oranges and thereby boost the economy in the Sunshine State. Did I get it right? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) Attached image(s) |
