I really don't know where to take my 914 to get an alignment for street use. Is there a shop around Orange county Ca. anyone would recommend? It's a V-8 car with a 930 trans.

Thanks guys,
the shops I went to just look at the car and began spilling out excuses for why they couldn't work on it.
I admit its a bit of a load to drive but I always drive it on the equipment and road test the car for them..
Thanks again!

I use:
Clark's House Of Suspension
26901 Vista Ter, Lake Forest, CA 92630
(949) 768-6261

The guy's good and is totally familiar with p-cars. He's done both of mine to my specs. It is worth noting that he no longer has a big collection of rear alignment shims for 914s so take your own (Zims in Texas has them). He also does not turn a knuckle-headed high school drop out lose on your car. There's a good chance he'll do the work himself. He also keeps appointments and works on time.

Later,
Kevin

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Steve's uses Accurate Alignment in Orange, California. He has had my cars (914-6) done there with very favorable results. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

How long should a good all wheel alignment take if it's done by someone who knows the car?

Is it a drop off in the morning and come back at 5 or could you wait for it?

Hergesheimers did a 4 wheel alignment and corner balance on my car before I sold it.
It made a world of diference in the cornering.
